Sunday 17 May: Dolphin Explorer

Step aboard the luxurious 65-foot catamaran for Auckland’s most unique whale and dolphin watching Safari. Departing direct downtown Auckland at 10:30am and returning at 3:00pm, you’ll enjoy a cruise through the stunning Hauraki Gulf, taking in iconic harbour views. Expert commentary, the chance to join live marine research as we search for dolphins, Bryde’s whales and an incredible range of other wildlife.

Monday 18 May: Discover Matakana

Explore further and discover Matakana, a lively hub of artisan flavours and boutique producers located 60 minutes north of Auckland city. Stroll Omaha’s pristine white sand beach – a tranquil sweeping shoreline just minutes from the village – and breathe in fresh coastal air. Continue to Brick Bay, where boutique wine tasting and seasonal dishes at The Glass House pair perfectly with a walk along the award-winning multi-sensory Sculpture Trail. You will be back in the city by 1.30pm, ready to join TRENZ celebrations.

1. Support of visit to Auckland will be at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited’s sole discretion.

4. All trade and famil activities are run by professional activity operators, and while all due care has been taken in the selection of those operators, I accept that activities on the famil programme I participate in may inherently involves risks and potential hazards.
