  • Interested in being part of the Auckland Live Cabaret Festival 2026? 

    This form is for New Works – including works in progress or works in development. For shows that have not yet been presented to a ticket buying audience, you’re in the right place. 

    If your production has already been staged, please complete the Existing Works form instead. 

    Expressions of Interest for New Works close 11.59pm (NZDT) on Sunday, 12 October 2025.

    Before you start your application, please have ready:

    • Synopsis of your show
    • Suggested hero image
    • Biographies of the artists and creative team
    • Links to reviews of past work
    • Links to websites and/or social channels
    • Probable technical requirements

     

    We want this process to be as accessible as possible, therefore, you can submit your EOI in writing, or as a video or audio recording to cabaretfestival@aucklandlive.co.nz.

  • Technical Information

    We know new works evolve, but any details you can share about technical needs are useful at this stage. Programming a festival involves multiple shows sharing venues each night, with careful coordination across many teams. To make this possible, it’s important that we have accurate information about your show’s running time from the start. Most festival works run for around 60 minutes, but longer or shorter works may also be considered. Please let us know your intended duration as clearly as possible — even if it’s an estimate at this stage.
